NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES

Touch and go operations prohibited from 2100 to 0630. Intersection take-offs prohibited at all times. Stop and go landings prohibited for all aircraft except light tail wheel aircraft. Practice low approaches prohibited from 2330 to 0630. Simulated engine failures prohibited over residential area.

Recommended Procedures:

Departures

Rwy 28 - Climb at best rate (Vy) to 1000’ AGL and then reduce to climb power/rpm as soon as practicable. Left downwind turns - climb to 1423’ MSL for single engine or 2023’ MSL for multi-engine aircraft before commencing left turn. Note: Large multi-engine aircraft should use RWY 28R to reduce noise impact on residential areas.

Arrivals

Pattern altitude south of the airport is 1423 MSL for single engine and 2023 for twins or turbine powered. Do not let pattern altitude degrade on downwind leg. Arrivals between 2330 and 0630 make straight-in approach or right downwind entry to Rwy 28R.
