NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
Departures Runway 16 require aircraft to climb runway heading till safe, then execute a left turn to 140 degrees to track out over Ladysmith Harbour to 1000 ASL. See VFR Terminal Procedures Chart for further information.

It is recommended that only pilots familar with the area utilize the airport during Night Hours, due to the high terrain to the South East. Five hazard beacons are located either side of Ladysmith harbour and it is recommended that all five be on for night operations.

No curfews exist at the airport at this time, however jet-engine power reductions are recommended when departing at night.
