ENGINE RUN-UP RESTRICTIONS
| As stated in the Bylaws Part VII (51)
All persons are prohibited at all times from stationary testing
of Aircraft engines in all open spaces at the airport except when;
(i) The total duration of testing in respect of any aircraft
engine does not exceed five minutes in a twenty four hour period.
(ii) The testing is carried out in a special area or facility
approved in writing by the Airport Manager
(iii) The testing is carried out at such other place and in such
a manner as shall be approved in writing by the Airport Manager
before the test commences.
(iv) No testing shall be carried out pursuant to subclauses (i)
and (ii) hereof between the hours of 2300-0600 except where such
testing is necessary to provide an urgent scheduled flight service.
When such testing has had to be carried out, then the person responsible
for the test shall lodge a detailed report with the Chief Executive
not later than 24 hours after the completion of that test. That
report shall set out the date, time and duration of the test,
together with the reasons requiring it and the date and time of
the scheduled flight service for which the test was necessary.
