NOISE MONITORING SYSTEM

The airport has an Integrated Noise Monitored and Path Tracking System (SIRVAL) it works automatically and permanently, collecting existing noise levels in areas where the terminals have been installed to monitor Noise (TMR), and, with information from the radar system for airport and flight plans, represented on a map the places where moving the aircraft in flight, using a geographic information system mapping and digital ortho-photos. The area controlled radar data covering a radius 30 miles around the airport.

The SIRVAL TMR has 10 TMR monitors 9 of which are currently installed and running in the following municipalities: Valencia, Manises, Xirivella, Quart de Poblet, Mislata, Aldaia and Ribarroja de Turia. The 10th TMR number is a portable monitor that will be installed in different locations depending on the needs evaluation.

The intent of SIRVAL is ensure that, by aircraft, are true flight paths and procedures established.
