The Materials Test Center can test a variety of components and assemblies. Equipment and capabilities include:
Flow Bench
- Measure acoustical resistance of panels and blankets, Rayls
- Meets ASTM C522
- Computer control and data acquisition
- Pressure measurement from .0001 to 5.0 psid
Impedance Tubes
- Measure acoustical impedance, Rayls, and absorption coefficient
- Meets ASTM E1050
- Computer controll and data acquisition
- Frequencies to 6300 Hz
