Our Products

We specialize in complex composite structures and sub-assemblies. Our main product areas include Wing to Body Fairings, Thrust Reverser Blocker Doors, Engine Strut Fairings and additional complex composite parts including Landing Gear Doors, Auxilliary Power Unit Ducts, Filament Wound Ducts and Nacelle Chines.

Boeing Winnipeg is a Tier I Partner to the 787 Dreamliner program, responsible for the Wing to Body Fairing, Main Landing Gear Door and Vertical Fin Fairing for the program's life cycle. Boeing Winnipeg will also supply Engine Strut Forward and Aft Pylons for the 787 as a Tier II Partner.

Engine Strut Forward and Aft Fairings

Engine fairingWinnipeg builds Engine Strut Forward Fairings for the Boeing 737NG, 767, and 777. Engine Strut Forward Fairings cover and protect strut mechanisms that hold the engine on the airplane. Forward Fairings provide a smooth aerodynamic surface for optimum airflow over the engine.

Winnipeg builds Engine Strut Aft Fairings for the Boeing 737NG, 747, 767 and 777. Engine Strut Aft Fairings cover strut mechanisms that hold the engine on the airplane under the wing. Aft Fairings must withstand great heat and vibration generated by aircraft engine exhaust. The Aft Fairings protect electronic and hydraulic systems inside the strut and optimize airflow behind the engine.

Wing to Body Fairings and Landing Gear Doors

Wing to body fairingBoeing Winnipeg builds Wing to Body Fairings for the Boeing 737NG and 747-400. The Wing to Body Fairing provides an aerodynamic shell between the wing and the fuselage, forming the outer skin of the aircraft.

Boeing Winnipeg builds Nose Gear Doors for 737NG and 767 aircraft. Our statement of work also includes Shock Strut Doors for the 767 and 777 as well as Trunnion Doors for the 777.

Thrust Reverser Blocker Doors

Thrust Reverser Blocker DoorsWinnipeg builds Thrust Reverser Block Doors for the Boeing 737NG, 777 and for the PW-4000 engine model serving 747 and 767 aircraft. Located inside the engine cowling, thrust reverser blocker doors deploy on landing to reverse airflow through the engine and assist braking. The PW-4000 model and 777 Thrust Reverser Blocker Doors are acoustically treated structure.

Additional Complex Composites

Nacelle Chines and various specialty Ducts are also part of our work statement.

Nacelle Chines

Nacelle chineA Nacelle Chine is a device that re-strikes airflow during take off. We build Nacelle Chines for the Boeing 777 using an internally developed fabrication process.

Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) Duct

Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) DuctWe use Graphite-BMI material to build our IDG Ducts. The IDG duct is an exhaust duct for the Rolls Royce model of the 777 aircraft.

Pre-Cooler Duct

Pre-Cooler DuctThe Pre-Cooler Duct is an example of a highly complex composite part built for the Pratt & Whitney 4098 engine model serving 777 aircraft.
