Dennis Floyd is the vice president of Training & Professional Services (T&PS) for Boeing Global Services, with responsibility for the people, processes and tools to provide training solutions and technical data to all market segments served by Boeing. Floyd and his team are driving innovation into the next generation of training technical data solutions, developing new technology that will advance Boeing’s service offerings to customers and ensuring high-quality, efficient, repeatable delivery.

With over 30 years of experience, Floyd has served in a number of leadership roles throughout the company, most recently as vice president of Strategy for Boeing Global Services. In that role, he was responsible for the development and implementation of business strategy and planning activities, including alignment to Boeing enterprise strategy, competitive benchmarking and positioning Boeing Global Services for growth.

Prior to joining Boeing Global Services, Floyd served as vice president of Services Strategy and Business Development for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, leading strategic planning and business development for Commercial Aviation Services, which transitioned into Global Services.

Previously, Floyd served as vice president of Fleet Services for Commercial Aviation Services, vice president of Freighter Conversions and director of Aviation Information Services. He also spent time as the director of Strategy and Business Integration in the Boeing France office, and as director of Strategy and Business Development for Homeland Security and Services for Boeing’s defense business.

Floyd has also served as chief engineer for Airplane Safety and Continued Airworthiness, test manager on the 747X development program, and test director on the 777. He has also held assignments on the YF-22A, F-22, B-52, B-1, AWACS and X-33/Reusable Launch System programs.

Floyd earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
