Jenna McMullin is vice president of Communications for Defense, Space & Security (BDS). Based in Arlington, Va., McMullin is responsible for leading all communications strategy and planning for the business. Prior to her current position, McMullin led Technology Communications including the Engineering, Test & Technology and Information Technology & Data Analytics organizations; before that, she was the director of communications for Boeing Capital Corporation.

Previously, McMullin served as the director of the centennial anniversary for Boeing, overseeing the strategic execution of the 100-year milestone across areas including branding, media relations, external events and employee engagement.

She rejoined Boeing in 2015 after serving as the senior corporate communications lead for DISH Network in Denver. McMullin supported the development of DISH’s communications function, including its corporate social responsibility program and Spanish-language communications support for the DishLATINO brand.

McMullin first joined Boeing in 2007 in Rotorcraft Systems Communications before transitioning to Intelligence and Security Systems in 2008. From 2011-2014, she led external communications for the full portfolio of the Network and Space Systems business unit.

Prior to Boeing, McMullin was an Air Force Civilian for more than five years. She was the Deputy Chief of Public Affairs for the 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and was a public affairs specialist for the 21st Space Wing and Headquarters Air Force Space Command, both located at Peterson AFB, Colo. She also brings corporate communications experience from Meredith Corporation.

McMullin holds an MBA from George Mason University and a bachelor’s in public relations from Drake University. She graduated with honors from the Department of Defense Information School Public Affairs Officer Qualification Course. McMullin has enjoyed serving her community through the Junior League, the Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Foundation and as a member of the board of directors for the Limb Preservation Foundation.
