Padraic Fennelly is vice president and assistant general counsel for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, the world’s premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners. Based in Seattle, he was appointed to the position in October 2018 and is responsible for all legal advice and counsel to the business.
Fennelly previously served in a variety of positions across the Boeing Law Department, including senior leadership roles at Commercial Airplanes; Defense, Space & Security; and Boeing International.
Prior to joining Boeing, Fennelly was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Washington, D.C., where his practice encompassed a broad range of complex civil litigation in state and federal courts across the country. Fennelly began his legal career as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Fennelly holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University.
