Martha Cosgrove is an investing analyst for Boeing HorizonX. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Cosgrove manages deal flow and focuses her skills on market research, due diligence and portfolio maintenance with startups around the world who are developing revolutionary concepts and business models.
Previously, Cosgrove led the Investor Relations program within Greentown Labs, the nation’s largest cleantech incubator, where she helped more than 50 early-stage hardware startups reach their fundraising milestones. She also served as Greentown Labs’ primary contact for more than 150 investors across the globe. In this role, she also supported Greentown Labs’ internal accelerator program, de-risking startup businesses and their products for potential investment and partnership with sponsoring corporate strategic partners. She has also held operational roles in various venture-backed startups.
In 2017, Cosgrove was awarded a two-year fellowship from Venture for America, a nonprofit organization with a mission of creating economic opportunity in American cities by mobilizing the next generation of entrepreneurs and equipping them with the skills and resources they need to create jobs. She is dedicated to upholding that mission within the Boeing HorizonX team and the city of St. Louis.
Cosgrove holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geology and geophysics, with a concentration in paleoclimatology and isotopic geochemistry, from Yale University.
