Apply for a Grant: Alabama
The Employees Community Fund of Boeing Alabama (ECF) is an organization consisting of voluntary members who are employees of The Boeing Company. Funds are collected through monthly payroll deduction and a ten member Board of Trustees elected by the membership administers and disperses contributions. The Boeing Company is not involved in the allocation of funds. However, the Company does provide a large measure of support to ECF by paying all of the fund's administrative expenses and providing a Company Advisor to the Board.
The ECF of Boeing Alabama Board of Trustees considers grant applications from not-for-profit organizations, which have an IRS determination of tax exemption under Section 501 in the area of Health and Human Services. ECF only supports agencies providing health and/or human services to the communities where ECF members reside.
Generally, we do not fund religious organizations, civic and environmental organizations, art and cultural organizations, medical research, recreational or athletic activity, agency advertising and publicity; tax supported institutions, individuals, operating expenses (to include salaries, travel expenses, utilities, etc.), or the replacement of monies already spent.
All applications must be submitted online via the grant application. No paper copies submitted via U.S. mail are accepted. Grant applications are accepted each month (January through September) but must be submitted by the close of business the 3rd Friday of the month in order to be considered for a funding decision the following month at the ECF Board Meeting.
