The Boeing Company invests in programs that promote participation in arts and cultural activities and experiences. To build participation in arts and cultural activities, we seek innovative:
- Performances and exhibitions that introduce new voices and perspectives to our community;
- Collaborative efforts developed to create a more sustainable arts and cultural environment;
- Programs that engage people to become lifelong arts and cultural participants, patrons or practitioners.
Local Strategies
The Boeing Company's arts investments foster creative expression, celebrate diverse cultures, stimulate civic dialogue, and strengthen communities.
Boeing makes the following types of investments to advance the work of professional arts and culture organizations in the Puget Sound:
- Programming grants to support the creation and presentation of risk-taking newer works;
- Change capital to test new business models or ventures that may yield new revenue lines;
- Systems change grants that provide training for artists and arts administrators, research that yields new knowledge, and collaborative initiatives that respond to field conditions.
How to Apply For Support
The first step in Boeing's grant process is to contact your local Community Investor to discuss a proposed project and its alignment to Boeing's local strategies. Before contacting us, however, please determine that your agency meets the eligibility and exclusions guidelines.

If your local Community Investor determines that your program, project or organization aligns to Boeing's strategies, you will be asked to submit an online letter of inquiry (LOI) prior to receiving an invitation code to complete an online application.
