- Inspire environmental citizenship and educate citizens to minimize their impact on the environment;
- Reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, increase recycling and energy efficiency; and
- Protect and restore critical natural assets and habitat.
Local Strategies
Boeing invests in initiatives that:
- Provide hands-on educational experiences which promote environmental stewardship and train the next generation of environmental leaders;
- Reduce greenhouse-gas emissions through the development of vibrant, compact cities and towns, energy efficient local and regional transportation solutions, large scale building efficiencies and innovative, sustainable and renewable energy solutions; and
- Protect and restore Puget Sound and the watersheds that filter into it with a focus on storm water management and habitat restoration.
