Good Neighbor Days
During the bi-annual Good Neighbor Days, teams of Boeing employees and retirees and their families and friends converge on local nonprofit organizations to complete much-needed repairs and maintenance. In April and August, these volunteers paint, mow, clean, pound and scrub their way through a Saturday morning to benefit health and human services that would not be able to accomplish these tasks without help.In 2002, volunteers gave more than 8,600 hours during the two days of volunteer service. Volunteer days in 2003 are April 19 and August 23.
