Job Shadow Day
With so many experts under the umbrella of one company, it makes sense to offer high school students the opportunity to "shadow" these professionals for a day. Through the Junior Achievement program, students are invited to learn more about what pilots, engineers and mechanics do during an average day. Most report the experience invaluable in their search for the "right" career.
In 2003, more than 600 students spent the day with Boeing hosts, learning what these professionals do in an average day.
