Cash and In-Kind Grants
The Boeing Company has partnered with local school districts within a five-mile radius of a major Boeing facility and where the majority of our employees live and work. Each school district has identified a district focal to prioritize all requests submitted by the school district to The Boeing Company based on the district's strategic focus areas. Parents, teachers or others interested in submitting an application are requested to contact their district focal to have their proposal reviewed and submitted by the focal for consideration.

How it works
Non-profits and private schools may apply for a line of credit once in each calendar year. If you are seeking computing equipment, the application is the same, but the process is slightly different. If your application is approved, you will be given a line of credit for a specific amount and 90 days to shop at the Surplus Store* until it is spent. Please do not wait until the last few days to shop, as no extensions are possible. If computing is approved, you will receive an approval letter placing you on a waiting list for one-twelve weeks. When computers are ready for pick up, you will be notified by FAX or email.
- Schools are eligible to receive up to ten computers and five printers per calendar year
- All computers must be picked up at the same time
- Please allow one cubic yard per machine in the vehicle you use.
- All equipment must be picked up within 10 days or it will be re-allocated to waiting organizations

Table or Event Sponsorship
The Boeing Company may choose to support a non-profit organization or school organization through the purchase of a table at an event or by underwriting your fundraising event.
You must include any information regarding the various levels of sponsorships (cost and benefits) available by uploading attachments prior to submitting online.
Auctions
Please supply a copy of the auction notice, along with the name of your principal to Pre K-12 Education Relations M/C 17-MP.
Because of the volume of auctions that are held in our local school districts to raise money to augment public funding, we provide schools a $50 Surplus Auction Voucher to be used by the school staff to purchase necessary school supplies. Currently statistics indicate that teachers provide $587 per year out of their own pockets for classroom supplies. We find that educators are extremely grateful for the opportunity to shop at our surplus store.
Private Schools
We offer surplus equipment and auction vouchers. Additionally, gift-matching is available for local private 501c(3) schools through donations made by eligible Boeing employee.
The schools are requested to contact us to obtain the necessary information to submit an application.
NEW!! We have launched an INKIND donations application. When applying, you must use inkind678 in the Invitation Code field.
If you are not a 501 c3 nonprofit and do not have an invitation code, please contact the Community & Education Relations office at (206) 655-7006. You will be transferred to the appropriate department and a determination made if you will be allowed to apply with an invitation code.
