William Allen Award
Every year, four Boeing employees throughout the company are recognized for their outstanding volunteer service. The award is named after William M. Allen, president of Boeing from 1945 to 1968 who was noted for his integrity and his dedication to improving his community. It is the only company-wide, non-job-related award recognizing individual achievement at The Boeing Company. Last year in the Puget Sound area, one employee was named as a winner and six others as finalists. Read their stories of dedication and commitment to making their communities better places.
