Award Overview
- The Boeing Award for Exceptional Volunteer Service: The William Allen Chairman's Cup will be presented on October 16, 2008 in Chicago.
- Nominations will be accepted between July 15 to August 22.
- There will be a winner and two semi-finalists chosen from the nominations, who will be notified in mid-September.
- The nature of the volunteer work must be skills-based (Note: the skills applied to the volunteer activity are not limited to one's current position at Boeing).
- Nominators should be able to demonstrate how their nominees applied their skills and, by doing so, how they increased their impact on the nonprofit and the community.
