Boeing Exceptional Volunteer Service Award
Eligibility Requirements
- Nominees must be current employees of The Boeing Company (or one of its wholly owned subsidiaries - direct or indirect) in good standing on the active payroll for a minimum of one year.
- Volunteer efforts must be skills based and performed on the employee's own time.
- The organization for which the volunteer work is done must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or international equivalent. Primary/secondary and higher education institutions and accredited technical schools (and their international equivalents) also are eligible. The organization should be in good standing within the community.
- Employees may nominate themselves or be nominated by a fellow employee, manager, the nonprofit benefiting from the volunteer work, a family member or friend. If not a self-nomination, nominees must be informed of their nomination prior to submission.
Exclusions
- Eligible volunteer service excludes personal financial support and work on company time (including ECF, loaned employees, and nonprofit board service on behalf of the company).
- Please note that contract workers and retirees are not eligible for the award.

Nomination will be accepted from August 16, 2010 to September 10, 2010. The preferred method for submitting a nomination is to complete the form electronically at www.cybergrants.com/boeing/bevs.
