Spirit of the Holidays: November-December
Spirit of the Holidays comprises several holiday-based giving programs including Adopt-a-Family, stocking decorating and stuffing, and Sew and Stuff programs. In 2004, Boeing employees helped 123 families through Adopt-a-Family, and donated more than 3,000 decorated and stuffed sockings and 5,500 toys and gift items to the Salvation Army for distribution. Another $11,000 was contributed to the Salvation Army for the Holiday Assistance Program. The Sew & Stuff Program donated 441 fabric toys and the Wood Toys Program provided 497 wooden chairs, rocking horses, and baby doll beds.
