Shep Hill is president of Boeing International and a member of the company's Executive Council. Named to this position in October 2007, Hill, 56, oversees the company's international affairs and has leadership responsibilities for 20 Boeing in-country operations throughout the world.

Before this appointment, Hill was senior vice president of Business Development and Strategy where he was responsible for analyzing and developing plans to drive the company's growth and nurture new businesses. In this capacity, he coordinated the company's Corporate Development function, with responsibility for acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, equity investments and joint ventures.

Previously, Hill was vice president of Business Development at Boeing Integrated Defense Systems (IDS), and was responsible for the development, integration and implementation of IDS customer and business strategies.

Before that, Hill was vice president of Boeing Space and Communications (S&C) Government Relations, where he managed and directed S&C's business interests and activities in the Washington, D.C. area, including marketing, legislative affairs, trade and media relations.

Hill joined Boeing when the company acquired Rockwell's Aerospace and Defense business in 1996. At that time, Hill was Rockwell's vice president of Aerospace Government Affairs and Marketing.

Prior to joining Rockwell in 1987, Hill served as Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to Rep. Bill Chappell of Florida, from 1980 to 1987.

In 1989, he completed the John F. Kennedy School of Government Harvard University - Program for Senior Executives in National and International Security, is a graduate of the Naval War College in Newport Rhode Island and received a bachelor's degree in History from Stetson University.

Hill is a member in the Council on Foreign Relations, is married and has two children.
