Houston Boeing Employees' Amateur Radio Society (HouBEARS)

The Houston Boeing Employees' Amateur Radio Society (HouBEARS) is open to all Boeing and certain other persons interested in Amateur Radio. The club offers assistance for those people desiring to obtain a Federal Communications Commission amateur license. The club supports a wide variety of activities ranging from emergency preparedness and public service events to mutual recreation in amateur activities such as contesting. HouBEARS maintains a Ham Shack (Radio Station) in building 91-51, Houston. Obtaining a license is a focus for those not already licensed but not necessary for membership.

Toastmasters is an internationally acclaimed non-profit educational organization dedicated to improving people's communication and leaders skills. We have 75 years of experience in helping people become better communicators and leaders.
