General Information

Dear Valued MDHS Supplier:

This book contains McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company dba McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems Purchase Order and Solicitation provisions. These Terms and Conditions of Purchase will be applicable to bid requests or purchase orders issued after April 30, 1994.

For pending requests for proposal, requests for quotation, and open purchase orders, MDHS' Terms and Conditions of Purchase dated February 1993, or prior, will remain in effect.

Upon receipt of a bid request or purchase order from MDHS, the specific provisions incorporated by reference in the solicitation or purchase order and explained in this book should be reviewed thoroughly by the Seller.

PROVISIONS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE

MDHS provisions offered or incorporated by reference take a number of forms: (1) Solicitation Provisions (SOLPs), (2) General Provisions, and (3) Purchase Order Special Provisions (POSPs).

The SOLPs offered by MDHS are listed in the request for proposal or request for quotation in the narrative section of the form or in select paragraphs of a free text solicitation. Section VIII of this book provides the printed text for MDHS Solicitation Provisions.

Section IX of this book provides the printed text for MDHS' Purchase Order Special Provisions.

Please direct any questions or comments related to this book to the Buyer or Subcontracts Administrator who issued the last Solicitation or Purchase Order to the Supplier.
