The Boeing Company is the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial jet aircraft and one of the nation’s top exporters. The company is a major U.S. Government contractor, with capabilities in space, electronic systems, military aircraft, helicopters, and information systems management. At the end of 1995, total Boeing employment was approximately 105,000.
