X-20 Dyna-Soar Space Vehicle
Artist's concept of the Boeing-designed Dyna-Soar, a crewed, reusable space vehicle that reached the mock-up stage before the program was canceled in 1963. The concept reappeared 20 years later in the form of the space shuttle, built by North American Rockwell.
