Nike Zeus (Douglas 1959)

Nike Hercules completed an evolutionary line of anti-aircraft missiles, and led to company participation in anti-ballistic missile research with the Nike Zeus. Based on Zeus technology, the Spartan was an advanced, long-range interceptor missile in the Safeguard ABM system.
