M-47 Dragon (McDonnell Douglas 1972)
McDonnell Douglas developed the Army's M-47 Dragon to be a guided anti-tank missile light enough to be carried and fired by one infantryman. Dragon began production in 1972 and became operational with U.S. Army forces in Europe in 1975.
