F-15E (First Flight 1986)

The F-15E, which flew for the first time on Dec. 11, 1986, is a two-seat dual-role fighter capable of flying both air-to-air and air-to-ground, long-range, day or night missions in any kind of weather.

The combat-proven Eagle also flies with the Israeli Air Force, the Japan Self-Defense Force and the Royal Saudi Air Force. During the 1991 Persian Gulf War, F-15 Eagles scored 36 of 41 allied kills over enemy aircraft, extending the Eagle's unblemished air combat record to 96.5 victories and zero losses.
