F-22 Flying Test Bed
F-22 avionics testing on the Boeing 757 Flying Test Bed is scheduled to begin in March 1999. The test bed will help reduce risk, as well as future F-22 flight test hours by enabling extensive in-flight testing and troubleshooting before the avionics are ever installed on the F-22.
