CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Fla., 30 Dec., 1995 — A Boeing Delta II rocket launched NASA's XTE satellite into orbit. The rocket was equipped with a new avionics and launch control system that automatically analyzes data, reports anomalies and processes the vehicle.
