Common Booster Core Heads to SLC37

Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. -- A Delta IV Common Booster Core (CBC) heads toward Space Launch Complex 37A, It is carried by the mighty Kamag Elevating Platform Transporter (EPT). This CBC is the one used for static hot fire test program conducted in 2001 at NASA's Stennis Space Center. The Boeing Delta team is using the unit to conduct pathfinder exercises of the new launch complex that will begin operations next year with the first launch of the Delta IV.
