Delta IV EELV Plant -- Decatur, Alabama
The Boeing Delta IV factory in Decatur, Ala., covers 1.5 million square feet. The facility produces common booster cores for the Delta IV family of launch vehicles, which Boeing is producing for the U.S. Air Force's Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle program. Boeing is also marketing the rockets commercially and has developed three variants specifically for commercial customers. There are a total of five variants of the Delta IV rocket, all of which use the common booster cores.
