Ground-based Midcourse Defense

IFT-6 Launch -- Integrated Flight Test (IFT)-6 took place on July 14, 2001. The interceptor was launched from Meck Island in the Kwajalein Island Atoll. The launch was part of the flight test program for the Ground-based Midcourse Defense Segment program.
