Boeing Delivers 2nd KC-767 Tanker to Japan
ST. LOUIS, March 05, 2008 -- Japan's second KC-767 Tanker takes off Monday from Boeing's tanker modification center in Wichita, Kan., en route to Gifu, Japan. Japan has ordered four convertible freighter 767s, providing flexibility in carrying cargo or passengers while maintaining its primary role as an aerial refueling tanker. Boeing delivered Japan's first-ever refueling aircraft on Feb. 19.
