Program anticipates a funding level of up to $50,000 for the contract
awards resulting from this BIA.
Detailed
Description of Effort and Task
The
Situation Understanding subsystem is one of five C2 subsystems that
are common components for all manned ground vehicles. It provides
the situation understanding application software for FCS.
All components
will be based on an open system architecture to facilitate block upgrades
and spiral development throughout the life of the C2 system.
The supplier
shall assist the LSI in understanding, developing and documenting
the Situation Understanding subsystem requirements and architecture
and writing the Situation Understanding subsystem specification.
Task
1
Analyze
FCS C2 requirements for Situation Understanding Subsystem requirements
and architecture.
Task
2
Assist
LSI in writing the Situation Understanding Subsystem architecture
and design description, interface architecture description, specification,
and ROM cost models. The LSI will provide a preliminary version of
these documents and specification for completion by the supplier.
Task
3
Demonstrate
your ability to meet a PDR within 30 days of SDD authorization (currently
set for 7/03) should you be chosen as an SDD supplier.
