Boeing Completes Back-to-Back Flight Demonstrations of EA-18G Concept Aircraft

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 26, 2002 -- Boeing completed two successful flight demonstrations of its EA-18G Airborne Electronic Attack concept aircraft Aug. 20 and 22, 2002.

Boeing has proposed the EA-18G to the U.S. Navy as a replacement for the EA-6B Prowler. The EA-18G is a variant of and retains all the capabilities of the F/A-18F Super Hornet, which is in production today.
