F-15E Strike Eagle

Efficiency in operations - These two F-15Es taxiing on the ramp at the Seoul Air Show are operational aircraft from the U.S. Air Force 90th Fighter Squadron at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. As the latest version of the F-15E multi-role fighter, the F-15K for Korea provides the ROKAF with operating commonality with existing ROKAF assets. The F-15K will use many of the same weapons and systems as the aircraft currently in the ROKAF fleet, including engines, communications systems, electronic warfare systems and sensor systems. There would be no need to purchase and maintain unique support systems and or to develop an entirely separate integrated logistics support system to maintain aircraft and weapons systems, which would save operating costs and boost operational efficiencies.
