F-15E Strike Eagle
Leadership for the future - The F-15E will remain the U.S. Air Force long-range strike fighter through at least 2030, working with the F-22, because of its unmatched range and payload capacity for both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. While other aircraft programs in the F-X competition have struggled through almost 20 years of changing development philosophies and have still not fielded an operational aircraft, the F-15 program has successfully improved an already superior aircraft and has an identified plan for further growth well into the 21st century.
