Welcome to the 2011 Hornet International Conference in Hilton Head, South Carolina. As part of our commitment to the highest standards of integrity, we would like to inform you of U.S. Government, the Hornet Industry Team and The Boeing Company's policy concerning payment for transportation and meals provided during the conference. While the Office of Government Ethics rules permit the giving of gratuities of modest value, we have adopted a policy that prohibits the offering of business courtesies such as meals and transportation to Federal Government employees unless the Government employee pays their fair share. The Boeing Company has adopted this general prohibition to avoid any misinterpretation and inadvertent violation by employees of the Government rules.
