Boeing Completes P-8A Poseidon Loads Calibration Testing Ahead of Schedule
SEATTLE, March 19, 2009 -- During P-8A loads calibration testing, up to 80 percent of the highest expected flight loads were applied to the aircraft to simulate comparable loads that will occur during flight. This view shows the aircraft's wings flexed or "deflected" up approximately seven feet after loads were applied.
