The 1,000th student naval aviator to graduate following training in the T-45 received his wings April 7 at a ceremony at Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas. Seventeen students earned their wings that day - 10 at NAS Kingsville and seven at NAS Meridian, Miss. Seventy-four T-45As are in service at NAS Kingsville, and 32 T-45Cs with the new digitally-equipped cockpit are at NAS Meridian.
