Boeing Delivers 501st AH-64D Apache Longbow to U.S. Army

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 09, 2006 -- Al Winn, vice president of Apache programs at The Boeing Company, shares success stories about AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter during the delivery ceremony for the 501st U.S. Army Apache Longbow held Aug. 9 in Mesa, Ariz., where the Apache Longbow was produced. Follow on sales to the U.S. and numerous international contractors will keep Apache Longbow in production for many years to come. Deliveries of Block III Apache Longbow aircraft, the next enhancement for the combat aircraft, are scheduled to begin in 2011.
