Boeing, U.S. Army Celebrate 1st Flight of AH-64D Apache Block III Helicopter
ST. LOUIS, July 11, 2008 -- U.S. Army aviators CW5 Rucie Moore and Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Dick Cody pilot the AH-64D Apache Block III helicopter over the Arizona desert at Boeing's facility in Mesa, Ariz., just prior to the start of the July 9 ceremony to celebrate the aircraft's first flight.
