Global Security Systems
Overview
Boeing Global Security Systems (GSS) provides border, transportation and critical infrastructure security solutions and was formed to harness Boeing's existing expertise and apply it to critical captures. GSS is part of Boeing's Intelligence and Security Systems division, which is devoted to meeting the complex challenges faced by our homeland security and intelligence customers.
GSS is composed of Boeing's SBInet program, the VSOC Sentinel product, International Security Solutions, Global Maritime Security and Airport Security Programs:
- SBInet: Boeing offers experience in deploying large-scale systems integration efforts in security, border security, surveillance systems and other areas. These efforts enable the team to understand the needs and challenges of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Border Patrol to deliver the right SBInet solution.
- VSOC: The Boeing VSOC® Sentinel, a software-based network-centric solution that provides a Common Operating Environment by integrating different security and information technology systems to enable a situational awareness "command and control" capability where the integration of surveillance, physical security, communication and information systems is transparent.
- International Security Solutions: International Security Solutions parlays experience gained through existing I&SS efforts such as SBInet, the VSOC Sentinel software product and Global Maritime Security for international customers.
- Global Maritime Security: Global Maritime Systems provides solutions to protect global maritime interests by using the information-sharing environment combined with multi-level security capabilities.
- Airport Security Programs: Airport Security Programs provides security equipment systems integration support services.
