HUGHES JOINS CHILDCARE CONSORTIUM
Employees to Benefit from New Center
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8, 1999 -- Families at Hughes Electronics Corporation
will be major beneficiaries of the services being offered at the Bright
Horizons Family Solutions South Bay Family Center, El Segundo's newest
childcare facility, located at 2270 East El Segundo Blvd, just east of
Sepulveda Blvd. The center will be independently operated by Bright
Horizons Family Solutions and will provide access to childcare to employees
from Hughes' corporate offices, DIRECTV®, and Hughes Space and
Communications Company. The center officially opened for service on Jan.
28.

to attract and retain high-caliber employees, many companies today are
opting to participate in a childcare consortium," said Steven D. Dorfman,

is a facility sponsored by several local businesses to serve employees, and
the general population, as well. This new Bright Horizons Family Solutions
center in El Segundo provides a well-run, state-of-the-art facility to the
