| BANDWIDTH ON DEMAND - Boeing Satellite Systems, the world's leading satellite manufacturer, is building three Spaceway» satellites for Hughes Network Systems. The Spaceway satellites are Boeing 702 spacecraft and will provide high-bandwidth and high-speed communications for broadband and multimedia applications to North America. The Spaceway satellites will operate exclusively in the Ka-band spectrum. BSS has contracted with The Sea Launch Company for launch of the first two satellites, with the first scheduled at the end of 2002.
