Boeing Submits GOES R Proposal to NASA
ST. LOUIS, March 31, 2008 -- The Boeing Company has submitted a proposal to NASA for the production of the next-generation Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite, known as GOES R, for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Boeing builds on its experience as the prime contractor for the current series of geosynchronous environmental satellites, GOES N, O and P.
