Ground-based Midcourse Defense
IFT-7 Successful Intercept -- Integrated Flight Test (IFT) -7 took place on December 3, 2001. The interceptor was launched from Meck Island in the Kwajalein Island Atoll. The launch was part of the flight test program for the Ground-based Miscourse Defense program.
