Space Flight Awareness
Program Overview
The Space Flight Awareness (SFA) Program is a NASA-managed motivational program with invited representation from the Office of Space Flight Field Centers, other NASA Field Centers, and contractors having major responsibilities for human spaceflight mission success. This Program meets the NASA requirements for contractors to participate in a NASA motivational program.
The purpose of the SFA Program is to ensure that each and every employee involved in human spaceflight is aware of the importance of his or her role in promoting astronaut safety and mission success in the critical, challenging task of flying humans in the hostile environment of space.
