ST. LOUIS, June 11, 2007 -- Boeing engineers helped trained Space Shuttle Atlantis astronauts for today's deployment of the Boeing-built truss element that will provide an extra boost of power to the International Space Station. Part of the space station's backbone, the Starboard 3 and Starboard 4 truss segment (pictured) is equipped with batteries and solar arrays that will ensure continuous electrical power to the outpost.
